Our Journey So Far

2023 - May

THE BIRTH OF TRANXENERGY

tranXenergy was born with a mission to revolutionize the world of energy management. Fuelled by a passion for sustainability and cost-effectiveness, we embarked on a journey to reshape the future of energy.

2023 - June

A MILESTONE ACHIEVED

We proudly welcomed our very first client for energy storage management consultancy and development. This marked the beginning of our commitment to helping clients optimize their energy usage and embrace a sustainable, cost-efficient future.

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Tan Wen Shan

Dr. Tan Wen Shan received the B.Eng. (honors) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, and his M. Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in 2011, and 2013 respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor, Malaysia in 2017.


His main research interests include power system operation and planning, renewable energy integration and smart grids.

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Lim Fang Sheng

Dr. Lim Fang Sheng received his Bachelor in Engineering (Hons) and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University Malaysia (MUM) in 2016 and 2020, respectively.

He is currently a lecturer of the Materials Engineering degree program at MUM.

After completing his PhD, he worked as a test engineer / design, verification and test (DVT) engineer under the Bruker Nano Surface (BNS) division in Bruker Malaysia. 

He was a sessional lecturer of the Common / Mechanical Engineering degree program at MUM. He teaches engineering numerical analysis using MATLAB and materials selection for engineering design.

Chief Technology Officer

Chia Jun Shen

With a Bachelor's in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering and a First Class Honours , Jun Shen's passion for innovation shines through.

Recognized with Monash University Malaysia's Best Final Year Project award for his work in Deep Learning, Optimization, and Transportable Energy Storage Systems, Jun Shen is the visionary leading TranXenergy towards a sustainable energy future.

Lead Developer (Web Development)

Dr. Keong Jin

Dr. Keong Jin received his Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Monash University Malaysia in 2019 and 2025, respectively. 

His research interests include cardiac electrophysiology, nonlinear dynamics, and control theory. He has also worked on mechanical ventilation studies. 

He is currently a faculty member in the Computer Science degree program at Monash University Malaysia

Lead Developer (LLM)

Ken Wilbert Osman

Ken Wilbert Osman is currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Monash University, Clayton. His research focuses on human–robot collaboration, computer vision, machine learning, and task planning.

He received his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Robotics and Mechatronics from Monash University Malaysia in 2024.
